ZERO RACE

Journalists #eRally with electric vehicles across 6 European countries

Polish journalists from WP.PL and WYSOKIENAPIECIE.PL, together with the ORPA.PL team will take part in an EV rally from Warsaw to Lyon.Media representatives will cover a road spanning over 4 thousand km, crossing 6 European countries and they will test the potential of two zero-emission SUV’s and ultra-fast charging stations.

The first phase of the eRally will be from Warsaw to France, via Germany and Switzerland. They plan to drive the nearly 2 thousand km track in a pace similar to that of conventional vehicles. The return phase will run through Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic, on a route from France to Poland. It should take the journalist the same time to cover this distance.

Both teams will aim at completing the journey in the shortest possible time, in full consideration of the road regulations and traffic restrictions.

Journalists want to present to their readers what the electrical charging infrastructure in southwestern Europe looks like today, how one of the world’s first ultra-fast electric car chargers works and how do some of the best electric cars on the European market perform – Audi e- tron and Jaguar I-Pace.

In Lyon, France, so at the finish line of the first stage of #eRally, both teams will take part in the International Electric Vehicles Symposium (EVS), which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary. It is one of the largest such events dedicated to electromobility in the world. Its organizer is the European Association of Electromobility AVERE, which in our country is represented by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA).
